Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using DirectoryBro, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

When you create an account, you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@directorybro.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are fraudulent, or have been inactive for extended periods.

DirectoryBro offers the following paid plans in addition to a free tier:

• Trip Pass ($6.99 one-time): 7 days of unlimited AI access from the date of purchase.
• Explorer ($9/month or $69/year): Unlimited AI queries, trip saving, and sharing.
• Bro Plan ($19/month or $149/year): All Explorer features plus group trip sharing, priority AI, and 3× contributor points.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card details. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. Trip Pass purchases are non-refundable once the 7-day access period has begun.

Refunds: Monthly and annual subscriptions are eligible for a full refund within 48 hours of the initial charge if you have not used the Service during that period. After 48 hours, charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. To request a refund, contact support@directorybro.com.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' advance notice to active subscribers.

The free tier permits up to 5 AI chat queries per calendar day (UTC). Queries reset at midnight UTC. We may adjust these limits at any time with reasonable notice. Circumventing usage limits (e.g., by creating multiple accounts) is prohibited and may result in account termination.

DirectoryBro uses artificial intelligence — including models provided by Anthropic (Claude) and real-time web search via Tavily — to generate travel recommendations, price estimates, itineraries, and other content. AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and is not a guarantee of accuracy, availability, or current pricing.

Prices, availability, visa requirements, travel advisories, and venue details change frequently. Always verify critical information directly with airlines, hotels, venues, or official government sources before making travel decisions or bookings. DirectoryBro is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

DirectoryBro may display "Book Now" buttons and links that direct you to third-party booking platforms (including but not limited to Booking.com, Viator, GetYourGuide, Airbnb, Skyscanner, and OpenTable). We may earn a commission when you make a purchase through these links at no additional cost to you.

These third-party platforms have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party website or service. Your use of third-party platforms is at your own risk.

The Service allows users to submit tips, reviews, new listings, and corrections ("Contributions"). By submitting a Contribution, you grant DirectoryBro a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Service.

You represent that your Contributions are accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you have the right to submit them, and that they do not violate any third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove any Contribution at our discretion.

Contributions that are approved may earn you points under our rewards program. Points have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

When you save a trip plan and enable public sharing, you agree that the contents of that plan (your conversation with the AI) may be viewed by anyone with the share link. Do not include sensitive personal information (passport numbers, payment details, home address, etc.) in shared trip plans.

You may disable sharing or delete a trip plan at any time from your account. Deletion removes the plan from our systems within 30 days.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system or network
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without our written consent
• Use automated tools to circumvent usage limits or interact with the AI at scale
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent Contributions
• Use the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or malicious material
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and curated directory content, is owned by DirectoryBro and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our explicit written consent.

AI-generated responses produced through your use of the Service belong to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not represent AI-generated content as independently researched or claim exclusive intellectual property rights over it.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, DIRECTORYBRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) $50 USD.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DirectoryBro and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your Contributions, or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting us. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association's rules.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email (if you have an account) or by posting a notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
